Hello, September!

Sorry about the tie-dye - the "cutest blog on the block" background was messing up, so I had to scrap it. I think this layout makes it easier to read on the tie-dye background, right? Let me know.

Here's a recap from this weekend: I drove home Friday morning, ate lunch with Bucky. She gave me her laptop! AMAZING! So now I have Skype and I can post pictures pretty easily (I'm going to attempt that next) since it has a card reader. Saturday I went to the clogging competition. We won 1st place in our all of our categories, and took 2nd overall in our division for small team ("Single Ladies") and 3rd overall in our division for both the hoedown and traditional line ("Nothing to Lose"). I think we should have competed at the Masters level - we would have SMOKED the other adult teams in that division! It was a lot of fun. We got 6 trophies! Mom, Dad, Granny, my cousin Amanda, Aunt Sheila and my cousin Rachel all came to watch. I love a cheering section! Saturday night I ate with Hayden and Brittany - so fun! Sunday was church and then I went to MTSU to pick up MacLaren and we went to La Vergne to see Cuyler, Leilani, and the boys. My cousin and his wife were there too. Cameron can really throw a football! ("bootball") The funniest thing was after he threw the ball, he would give everyone high-five. One time he had his hands up for a high-five but no one was paying attention, so he went over to the window and high-fived his reflection!

On Monday Cuyler and Leilani brought the boys to Mom and Dad's so I got to play with them for a couple of hours before I hit the road back to Sweet Home Alabama. I read Cameron a book Mom got me called "Countdown to Touchdown" starring Big AL. I taught Cameron to say "Roll Tide!" Should come in handy this weekend when he's watching the game with my brother, who's a Penn State fan! Roll Tide, Cameron!

I met Heather for lunch in Birmingham, and she brought Peggle Nights for me. It's a highly addicting computer game, sort of like pinball. She accuses me of only coming to visit her to play it, so now I have it on my laptop!

Yesterday was the after-school program. We were missing several kids, but I think everyone else had a good time. The mirrors are up in the dance room! (I've been enjoying them this morning doing a little clogging!) We're getting ready for our big Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony and Open House event on Thursday, September 23rd. It's from 4-6pm - consider this your personal invitation! I'd love to see you there!

Last night I got to hang out with my friend Julie because Bible Study was cancelled. We went to eat delicious sushi! We had somewhat of a Disney assortment: Beauty and the Beast, Snow White, Shaggy Dog, and Crazy rolls. Snow White was my favorite but I'd get all of them again.

Ok I'm going to attempt to add some pictures of the house to a new post. Cross your fingers!
